## Snowflake Software Engineer Interview Guide & Process
Snowflake is a leading cloud data platform. Their interview process is notoriously difficult, focusing heavily on low-level systems, C++/Java, and deep computer science fundamentals.
### 1. Recruiter Screen (30 mins)
Background check and role alignment.
### 2. Technical Screen (1 hour)
Typically a hard algorithmic problem on HackerRank or CoderPad. Expect dynamic programming, graphs, or complex data structures.
### 3. Onsite Loop (5-6 hours)
- **Advanced Algorithms (x2):** Extremely rigorous coding rounds. Performance and optimal time/space complexity are mandatory.
- **System Design / Database Internals:** Designing distributed storage engines, query optimizers, or handling massive concurrent throughput.
- **Behavioral:** Standard cultural fit and past experience discussions.
